I discovered that in the market there’s Cosmetic products that are not manufactured
for black women but marketed for all skin types and Black woman feel neglected
and not catered for.
they want cosmetics products that protect their skin from the harsh African sun,
and cosmetics products that can keep their skin hydrated and smooth.

hydrated and smooth. because currently there's no product that caters for their skin in the market.

Observations and Insights
Between 2015 and 2016 Mageu Number one launched a campaign called feed your body and soul, with the hashtag NumberOneMageu trying revive its image and reach in society.
The campaign was to position Number one Mageu as a brand that’s more connected to young people in the creative space.
The campaign became a hit in different medium streams but it had more impact online as Mageu managed to have a 5 million reach on social media and 20 thousand fan growth in one month. The campaign kept Mageu relevant and exciting.

"Mageu is for sick people that can’t swallow solids."
"It’s only for sick people or people on the go."
"It’s for people who have lack of energy and are in desperate need for a boost."
